Thanksgiving Oldendorf!

This year’s Thanksgiving service at St. Mary’s Church was held under the motto “The last shirt has no pockets”.
A team of volunteer women invested a lot of time in the preparations, decorating the church, cooking jam and baking cakes. Two days before the festival, the church was decorated, tables were set and pumpkin soup and drinks were organized. The festive service emphasized the importance of community.
Afterwards, visitors were able to talk, laugh and share with each other over pumpkin soup. A big thank you goes to all the helpers and participants who made the festival a special event. Parish administrator Sindy Meier is already looking forward to the next festival.
